This course is subject to availability call.  It is designed for workers of disaster sites where disasters occurred it is for the trades and public sector and all personal who work on at Disaster Sites.  Personnel learn to assist under the Incident Command System or Unified Incident Command structure and what is expected of the worker and what to expect!  This training is taught by us and trainees receive the OSHA training from OSHA Authorized Trainer for workers as Disaster Site Workers.  Eventually the training may lead to selection of workers over others for these types of operations by those in control. Training available by special arrangment.

24-Hour Initial Training or Emergency Response Training (ERT)   Ask for pricing.

 

Twenty Four-Hour initial HAZWOPER training, in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) (ii- and iii) for: (ii) workers on site only occasionally for a specific limited task (such as, but not limited to, ground water monitoring, land surveying, or geophysical surveying) and who are unlikely to be exposed over permissible exposure limits and published exposure limits; (iii) workers regularly on site who work in areas, which have been monitored, and fully characterized indicating that exposures are under permissible exposure limits and published exposure limits where respirators are not necessary, and the characterization indicates that there are no health hazards or the possibility of an emergency developing. This may parallel Technicians and Specialist Emergency Response Training (ERT). Specialists courses may be up to Eighty Hours plus.

 

 

Project Management  
Acts as a Project Manager for Disaster Recovery Planning. Conducts working sessions with Applications and Infrastructure staff and assists them with writing their Disaster Recovery plans. Assists with writing the procedures that tie all the plans together. Is a key resource in developing the DR test plan and coordinates and documents the recovery tests. Interfaces with auditors to review plans and results.


Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating all aspects of assigned projects. Sets up a single point of contact for these projects.
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Manages multiple infrastructure projects concurrently in fast paced environment.
Utilizes technical knowledge to assess priority, complexity and contribute ideas to the team.
Focuses the team on the most critical tasks.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, applications and infrastructure areas, and vendors.
Documents project scope and objectives, develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Facilitates project meetings and is responsible for producing meeting minutes.
Motivates team members and sets up system to do follows up on overdue tasks.
Recommends and takes action to resolve problems.
Ensures adherence to appropriate quality standards.

 
Supervision  

Supervise others in a matrix organization, subject to stressful, highly fluid situations, such as an extended DR exercise environment or an actual disaster situation.

Duties in some respect are similar to HAZWOPER supervision most disaster sites have an incident commander who is a degreed person from the government sector. However the resources brought in will have their own supervision and the Disaster Site worker reports only to their immediate supervisor.  Although some cases others like a Site Safety person may stop work, however that role most all cases shall not be to redirect work since that is the function of the Supervisor.
