Announcing the Disaster Site Worker Course
Since 9/11 the nation has taken many steps to be prepared for emergencies the U.S. DOL Labor over OSHA will now issue a new card!

It is called the Disaster Site Worker, the training adds to the comprehensive training many HAZWOPERs already have including OSHA 10 hour for construction workers.


We currently recommend the OSHA 40  Hour HAZWOPER for 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)

OSHA 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker

 

Forty-Hour HAZWOPER OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 Initial HAZWOPER Training
Forty-Hour initial HAZWOPER training, in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)(3)(i) for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and professionals) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities, which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances. Workers who are Environmental Technicians, Emergency Response Teams, Laborers, Chemists, Geologists, Engineers, and Industrial Plant Workers.

OSHA Eight Hour Refresher for HAZWOPER

 

8-Hour Refresher Training  Required annual refresher training.
Per 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8), CSI offers eight hours of refresher that is required annually on the items specified in initial training and any critique of incidents that have occurred in the past year that can serve as training examples of related work, and other relevant topics.  Hands on SCBAs.

Site Supervisors and Managers

 

8-Hour Management and Supervisor Training
In accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(4), CSI offers eight additional hours (to those who have completed applicable initial training) of specialized management and supervisor training that includes the employer's safety and health program, personal protective equipment program, spill containment program, and health hazard monitoring procedure and techniques. OSHA requires this for supervisors. Minimums may apply unless we indicate otherwise.

OSHA TEN HOUR FOR CONSTRUCTION

 

10 Hour CONSTRUCTION Training
OSHA Authorized 10 hours for construction basic safety, participants receive a DOL/OSHA card.  This course is rapidly becoming the entry stamp for most Industrial Facility Contractor Workers.

Objectives

1. Demonstrate Knowledge of OSHA Construction Safety and Health Requirements (or know how and where to research them);

2. Define fundamental construction safety terms;

3. Identify the most serious hazards associated with the construction environment;

4.  Undertake feasible and practical methods of hazard abatement.
