Specialized Recovery Drum Units for Explosion Proof
Vacuum Cleaner Systems

Model
SS-25 IT Interceptor Drum with Splash Guards. Flammable
metal dust produced from alloys and explosive powders are
recovered and neutralized in the IT-25. A conductive suction
hose with accessories is connected to the suction intake of the
primary interceptor drum equipped with splash guard system.
Flammable dusts and neutralizing agents are easily disposed of
through the drain valve. All accessories and hoses are ESD safe
when connected to the explosion proof vacuum system. |
WARNING!
Please be aware that when recovering metal dusts (Class II -
Group E), especially if you are combining more than 1 alloy,
that there could be a negative reaction. For this reason we
recommend the use of Tiger-Vac Model IT-25 Interceptor Recovery
Tank with Parafina Oil. Please Contact us for further

More Special Features and Specifications

All stainless steel 304 construction.

The exhaust venting port allows vapors and fumes to be
exhausted outside of the working area or be neutralized
(adsorption) through and activated carbon system. Several
types of carbon are available. (Optional)

HEPA filter efficiency of 99.99% @ 0.3 micron. Filters are
manufactured and tested in accordance with IES-RP-CC 001.3.

Model SS-10(DT) RE HEPA MRSCFS (for dry recovery only) is
designed for applications where finely pulverized dust is to
be recovered. The filtration system consists of a static
dissipating main filter and an extra large static
dissipating pre-filter with manual filter shaker. The manual
filter shaker allows the operator to regularly shake the
filter and to dislodge caked-on dust without having to open
the vacuum cleaner. Regularly shaking the filter maximizes
the vacuum cleaner's performance and eliminates down-time.
In the detachable recovery tank, conductive polyliners are
available to facilitate the disposal of recovered material.

The Middle Ring with Activated Carbon (MRAC) (for wet and
dry recovery) is ideal for applications requiring both
activated carbon for the adsorption of odors and vapors and
HEPA filtration for the recovery of ultra-fine
toxic/nuisance dust.

The vacuum cleaner units are based either on a 4 wheel dolly
or on a 4 wheel tilting cart to allow for easy emptying of
recovered materials.

Only tools and accessories provided by Tiger-Vac should be used
with this vacuum cleaner. Any other tools used will render the
warranty null and void and may cause an explosion which could
result in bodily harm. Tiger-Vac will not assume any
